McMarmilloyd Ltd is different from other stone specialists – the exclusivity and unique heritage of our stock sets up apart. In addition to luxury and commercial marbles, limestones and granites we also stock a large quantity of ancient and antique marbles. These are typically used for the restoration of historic furniture and buildings, but are also available for new build projects where they offer unparalleled provenance and exclusivity. Some of our blocks were quarried 1,800 years ago.
Ian MacDonald (Managing Director) has worked in the stone Industry for more than 35 years. When not absorbed with procuring new and exciting marbles he undertakes lectures, stone identification and consultation work regarding the restoration of old buildings. He has established a global network of specialist suppliers, including our Italian sister company V. Fontanili S.r.l.
In Wiltshire we have two large depots full of marble and granite slab and block, and also store some of our antique blocks in three separate depots in the Carrara area of Italy.

Based just over the border of Berkshire into rural Wiltshire we’re two minutes from Bedwyn Rail Station with direct trains to London. And only 15 minutes drive from the M4, and 30 minutes from the A303.
