Highly valued since Roman Times (Marmor Celticum). The Quarries, situated near Aubert (St. Girons) in France are now closed. Examples of it's use are to be found in St. Marks Church, Venice, and the basement of the Cenotaph of the late Prince Consort, erected in the Albert Memorial Chapel, Windsor. This Marble is now extremely rare yet we have large slabs available in both 2cm and 3cm thick for Restoration of Antique Table Tops etc.
